As we are continuously growing, we need to strengthen our UX team with our first UX Researcher at our Borås office!

Your role as a UX Researcher at Scandinavian Photo 

The UX Researcher will provide data-based answers to challenging questions throughout the web development process to eliminate guesswork in decision-making. The main role of the UX Researcher is to support the UX department in understanding what would ensure that the user’s experience of the platform is intuitive, accessible, and engaging. 

The UX Researcher investigates and understands user behavior and motivators by working with foundational and directional research. The User Researcher evaluates features that contribute to the user’s experience, giving actionable insight on how it can be improved.  

As a UX Researcher at Scandinavian Photo, you will: 

• Be responsible for planning and conducting user research at every step of the product’s lifecycle: from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and final product. 
• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions. 
• Work with journey mapping, empathy mapping, surveys, JTBD, personas, prototyping, interviews, and statistical tools, amongst other research methods to understand client and user behavior, pains, gains, needs and motivators. 
• Plan, facilitate, and lead stakeholder and client workshops. 
• Independently formulate research questions and hypothesizes. 
• Analyze and triangulate quantitative and qualitative research to generate strategic insights, and actionable recommendations, to drive product design improvements that improve the user experience.

You are a communicative person who is not afraid to speak in front of a crowd, lead workshops and ask questions. You are collaborative and sociable, at the same time as you dare to challenge. You do this in a humble way because you understand the importance of building trust and you enjoy working with different types of people in other competence areas. 

We also believe that you have: 

• Education in a relevant field and/or a couple of years' experience in UX and User Research, but your skills are more important than experience. 
• Experience from working with e-commerce or digital products (web and/or apps). 
• Experience from using Figma or similar tools.
